Friday August 23rd: 6-8PM, Saturday August 24th: 9AM-5PM (plus 2 hours home exercise) Sunday August 25th 9AM-5PM

This comprehensive 20-hour training led by Elizabeth Haberer, LCSW, YACEP, E-RYT will offer an in-depth and comprehensive overview of the THRIVE trauma-informed yoga teaching system. This training is designed to empower yoga teachers by broadening their skillset in order to attend intelligently to the body/mind of their students. It is especially relevant for yoga teachers who wish to teach in settings where they will teach students impacted by trauma. 

1. Access an introductory version of the most updated neurobiological research on trauma and how it affects the body and mind of students,  
2. Learn to attend to your students' mental and emotional bodies with concrete tools in a responsive, boundaried manner,
3. Learn and practice the basic tenets of non-coercive trauma-informed language.

You will also learn how systemic trauma such as racism and socio-economic oppression affects communities and how trauma work has social justice as one of its core values. 

This training is eligible for 20 CE credits through the Yoga Alliance.
